The Territory Management Style Inventory (TMSI) consists of 18 situations divided into three approaches sales reps might use to manage the accounts in their sales territory: Milk Route, Reactive and Planned. By choosing the course of action they would most likely take for each situation, sales reps create a profile that reveals their use of the three approaches in planning sales calls on customers and prospects.

Available in two versions:
  • Self — completed by the sales rep
  • Follow-Up — completed by the sales rep to measure improvement and identify areas requiring further development
Multiple uses:
  • Sales training
  • To coach sales reps on how to more effectively manage the accounts in their sales territory
