The Face-to-Face Sales Skills Inventory (FFSSI) consists of 42 statements divided into seven dimensions that represent the key steps comprising the collaborative sales process: Developing Interpersonal Trust, Establishing a Business Purpose, Identifying and Exploring Customer Needs, Exploring Solutions, Agreeing on an Action Plan, Overcoming Objections and Closing the Meeting. Based on how they answer the statements, sales reps gain valuable insight into their greatest strengths and most pressing improvement needs in conducting face-to-face sales calls on customers.
Available in three versions:
- Self — completed by the sales rep
- Other — completed by 3-8 customers to provide feedback to the sales rep
- Follow-Up — completed by the sales reps to measure improvement and identify areas requiring further development.
Multiple uses:
- Selling skills training
- To coach sales reps on how to conduct sales calls from a partnership or collaborative position
