The Communication Style Inventory (CSI) consists of 24 sets of paired statements describing the four most commonly used communication styles: Aggressive, Avoiding, Accommodating and Collaborative. By choosing the statement that most nearly describes how they would communicate in a particular situation, respondents generate a profile of their use of the four communication styles.
Available in three versions:
- Self — completed by the target person
- Other — completed by 3-8 people who have first-hand knowledge of the target personís use of the four communication styles
- Follow-Up — completed by the target person to measure improvement and identify areas requiring further development
- Communication skills training
- To coach executives and others in how to improve their interpersonal communication effectiveness
